A True Community Cooperative
A true cooperative is a bit of a hard thing to understand, so let us explain it a little better!
All-Inclusive Membership
What's in a Name?
A true cooperative is the oldest type of homeschool group. We are a collection of families that get together in order to share our talents! We offer our skills and expertise to each other without fee for the betterment of the whole.
Commitment
We are not a drop-off program. Families must commit to attending CLC regularly and participate in some way. If teaching isn't your passion, what about holding babies or supervising recess? Were you a CPA or lawyer in a past life? We promise that there is a job for your talents!
What Ages Can Attend?
We welcome children from 0-18! Our classes are broken into Lower and Upper groups, because we believe that mixed age classes allow kids to shine. We also offer a nursery for our youngest students. There is no fixed age group, because we understand that parents can make the best choice for their kids on what fit is best.

Classes
CLC's fall semester runs from September 18, 2024-December 18, 2024. We have divided our semester into three 5-week "sessions." While some classes remain the same all semester, some classes change often. This is by design, to give our children the opportunity to try new things and truly explore their interests. We have everything from Dance to Consumer Finance, to Art and Science! All of our classes are taught by CLC parents.
Paid Classes
We recognize that some things really should be outsourced, so we partner with community experts to offer paid classes at our facility. Tuition is paid directly to the instructor and is not covered by your CLC membership.
